| Figure 146. Rice pestle This rice pestle was made by Otis Waiters and Richard Waiters in 1990. Note that the two ends have different shapes, one to remove the husks and one to polish the rice. This pestle was accidentally made with two pointed ends. One end has been rounded to correct this error. (Photo 1998) |
