This modern felling ax, from the J. Eli Gregg corn barn, was used in the cabins exhibit for years to show what a felling ax looked like. When the exhibit’s antique ax head was put on a handle and could be used to show a felling ax, this modern ax was returned to its owner. (Photo 2005)
