Using Ruska Gregg's baskets
While
Ruska Gregg made many things as chief woodcraftsman on the
Gregg/Wallace farm, the basket in the hewn-timber cabins
exhibit is the only thing that Archie Waiters could
positively identify as made by Gregg. In this photo,
Gregg's standard-sized baskets are being used for
harvesting sweet potatoes. Waiters said that baskets used
for corn harvest were so large that it took two ment to
