Ms. Catherine had done such a good job of wallpapering, that some of her paper was still in place a half-century later. In 1989, when Hurricane Hugo crushed the roof of her old home and the rain poured in, most of the paper came off. These are samples of her paper and paste that were salvaged at that time. (Photo 1998)
