Figure 928. Maul In all the collection of old tools in the old J. Eli Gregg corn barn, there was not one single maul. They probably disappeared because they were made of wood and therefore rotted away. When Archie Waiters was asked to make a maul for the hewn-timber houses collection, he made three. This is the middle-sized one. In the backround is the south door of the old dairy. Photo 1998. |
