Dye Painting on Silk
Until you've loved an animal and been loved in return,
there's a place in your heart that you've never known!
Found this adorable 9" by 10-1/2" Kobayashi image which appears to be dye painted onto silk.
Sorry for the image, the random spots are light reflected through the weave of the fabric.
There is some age discoloration to the cloth, but the image is crisp and colorful.
