Pinkney’s hoe This was Janie and Ed Pinkney’s hoe. I felt sad when I first saw it. I pictured them wanting a long handle for their hoe, and this short piece of pipe was the only handle they could get. But perhaps I was wrong. It is possible that the Pinkneys preferred a short-handled hoe. (Photo 1998) |
