meets the new
In 1984,
Catherine and Archie Waiters visited their old house. Fifty years had passed since
they had moved into this house as newlyweds.
While Mr. and Ms. Waiters were there, Dr. Donald
Bailey brought his young anthropology class to visit the
cabin. All these bright young
faces give hope that the African-American part of our
history will be recovered and recorded.
